A guide to Own Art

Share

  • Own Art is a national initiative supported by Arts Council England, that makes buying contemporary art affordable. With only a quick and easy application to complete, Own Art can provide you with interest-free credit for the purchase of your new favourite artwork.

By doing so, Own Art reduces financial barriers in the art market, allows thousands of customers to gain access to the art they love, and supports the creative economy by encouraging sales from living artists.

Lucky for you, Helm is an approved gallery - meaning we can offer Own Art as a payment method on all qualifying artworks. Here are a few highlights that we think make Own Art great:

    - The choice is yours. With Own Art available on paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, textiles and more you're free to simply choose something you love.

    - The application process is quick. You can complete an Own Art application in the gallery or over the phone with one of our trainer Art Advisors in under 10 minutes, and the decision is usually instant.

    - Own Art makes budgeting for art straightforward. Forget having to save for months and potentially missing out, with Own Art you can purchase artwork over £100 and pay for your total, interest-free, over a ten month period.

    - You get your art right away. Once your application has been accepted and signed, your artwork can be delivered - so you won't have to wait for your total to be paid off before you can enjoy your new piece.
