Collection: Steve Dennis

Steve Dennis is a self taught artist. 

British born in 1971, Dennis  grew up a proud ‘latchkey kid’ of the 1970’s, moving four times around the UK and attending five different schools before the age of 14. This relocation at a young age had a profound effect on him.

Experiencing both living in-urban and rural environments and the explosion in the 80’s alternative scenes, Dennis cites hip hop, street art and free sports amongst his influences. 

A self taught artist Dennis builds his paintings, layer upon layer,  story telling his way to the final image.

Also a love of the natural world, through observing animals in all environments and imagining their view on the world runs heavily through Dennis’s work.

Lives in East sussex and works from his own studio / workshop in Eastbourne.
