The Drawing Room
26.12.23 / 31.12.23
If you're looking for a unique activity over the festive period, we've got you covered.
At Helm, we want as many people as possible to engage with art - so this December we're inviting you to come and draw on the walls! We've carefully wrapped our Exhibition Hall ready for you to add the artwork yourselves, so you'll just need to grab a pen and get creating.
Over just six days The Drawing Room will be open to the public to come and create, together. You'll be encouraged to draw, scribble and colour the walls to fill the space and exercise your creativity.
While we welcome those with small children, this event is not just for the little ones. It's an experience that the whole family can enjoy. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just a doodler, we're open to everyone.
Why not try something new, or practice your skills - making art is shown to lower stress levels and help mental wellbeing. Plus, there's no judgement here, we can't wait to see what you create. So come and get involved!
There's no need to book ahead, simply drop in while you can and stay as long as you want.
The Drawing Room will be held in our Exhibition Hall, on the lower ground floor which is accessed by a staircase. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this. If you would like to discuss accessibility with us please get in touch.
