Anna Lucas is a Surrey-based artist whose work explores profound human emotion and the powerful romance of the American West.

She studied Fine Art at the BRIT School before graduating from the University of the Arts, developing her practice through technical discipline and an adventurous, wide-eyed imagination.

Drawing inspiration from American folklore, wild lands and boundless skies, Anna’s paintings offer us an enchanting narrative that extends far beyond the frame.

Influenced by the storytelling tradition of Country music, she approaches painting as a way of recording our memories. Much like a song that endures long after it ends, her artwork invites us to pause and reflect, capturing feelings both intimate and expansive.
