Ryan Callanan (RYCA)

Ryan Callanan aka RYCA is a British contemporary artist based in Essex. Working across various mediums he is a master repackaging modern-day references using traditional techniques. From traditional pub-style signwriting to sculpture, resin works and prints he brings a unique flair to familiar imagery.

Some of RYCA’s most recognisable works include his giant 3D resin-cast smiley faces, busts of hip-hop icons and acid-house themed skate decks. He has frequently collaborated with Fatboy slim and worked with iconic artists such as Stik and PEZ.
