Ariyan Arslani AKA Action Bronson is an American artist, rapper, chef, songwriter, fashion designer and television presenter. He garnered major recognition throughout the 2010s for his unique style of New York rap, prompting him to turn his left-field artistic vision to other creative pursuits. 

His work as a painter has grown exponentially over the last 5 years. With the combination of lockdown and a leg injury motivating him to paint daily as artistic therapy, the resultant brash, expressive works have an unrivaled energy, becoming almost sculptural in nature through layer upon layer of thick acrylic paint, applied brusquely to capture movement and energy .

His works take heavy inspiration from visionary American artists Alex Grey and Allyson Grey. Having visited their ‘chapel of sacred mirrors’ -  an art sanctuary and trans-denominational interfaith church, he became hooked on the practice of painting compulsively stating “it’s just raw emotion that gets out…”.
