Michael Richards is a Brighton based artist who has submitted his photographic works to this year's open call on the theme of Unity.

The two images, which work together as a pair "were taken on a very hot summers' day in Paris." when the streets were empty and the late afternoon sun cast shadows that danced across the buildings.
