About the artist
David Shrigley
David Shrigley (OBE) is a British visual artist based in Brighton.
Known for his surreal and darkly humorous works produced in a rough, child-like fashion he's garnered widespread acclaim and an international fanbase for his witty, unsettling concepts.
He famously provided a sculpture for the fourth plinth in Trafalgar square between September 2016 and March 2018.
He has an incredibly active secondary market stemming from an international collector-base.
